I'm a coloured girl raised in a fairly white village and even though it must be about ten years ago I still remember a certain boy calling me 'poo-stain' all the time. And a couple of years later, when in puberty, a guy - whom I didn't even like - flat out told me 'he's not attracted to "negro's".'
